art for the eyes and ears: natasha bedingfield "angel" live.

i'm just so hooked on this track that i had to post
natasha's performance live from the today show
this morning, snagged by bonbro. love it.

barack obama is chuck norris, more or less.

we're all familiar with chuck norris and his ability to
better any situation he's presented with. well, looks
like some hipsters took it upon themselves to make
a hilarious web site in the chuck norris vein...

then click on the words of the site for a new quote.

highlight: barack obama let you play drums in rock band.

she's now got the right track behind her aka darkchild produced,
to really show her capabilities to rank with the best
divas in the biz. this one is fire... it's called "angel."

the end of "you try walking in these heels."

natalie torne has given a gift for men, to all women.
a man's date will no longer have to worry about
space in their clutches for flats when the dress code
demands heels. natalie has designed "goodie 2 shoes"
that transform from 9 cm high heel to 4 cm low heel.

go giants.

zhang huan brings us "giant 3," a 15 foot tall figure currently
on display at the pace wildenstein gallery in chelsea. the
mere size of this giant alone is completely engaging.

avoid a void by watching a void.

16.7.08

"a void" - new video from crackle.com. panicked, the character
loses control of the very existence he has created.
kind of reminds me of a-ha's take on me video, but a bit more
intense, with the lead traveling into the real world at the conclusion.

From Crackle: A Void

the evolution of the spork.

ohhh, you can actually just put the spoon on the

lifemaps are the new photo albums.

the new touchscreen lifemap is a digital photo organization
and storing device for your photos and videos. basically
it just looks very cool but i must admit, this will be
outdated as soon as computers/laptops become touchscreen.

the perfect complement to hanging silver funnels, apparently.

15.7.08

dope french door refrigerator from electrolux.
note the led lighting along the sides. tight like a tiger.
what's with the random funnels hanging on the right though?

keep your balls away from my beamer.

2 things are certain.
1, apparently i'm a sucker for publicity stunts.
2, bmw sure knows how to prove a point.
for two days, the 7-series bmw was hidden in 180,000 silver
balls that filled a giant glass-and-acrylic hourglass almost
40 feet tall that had been built right in front of the kremlin.
on the night of the 8th, as 400 invited guests watched,
the top of the hourglass emptied to reveal the car.
bmw officials say the stunt was meant to illustrate
the event's tagline, "never stand still."

but enough pictures, let's see it motion shall we?

to hard working women, "superwoman." alicia is just the best.

ba-rack is officially on the buildin... perhaps not for long.

ron english's abraham obama 100 ft wheatpaste rainbow poster mural
in boston's southend is well, awesome. however, the local residents are
not only upset about it's polarizing political reactions, but also because of
hundreds of illegal posters have now popped up around the city due to
the opening of boston's gallery xiv political art show that has legally installed
pieces around the city as well. -more info and pics at supertouchart

so if they take it down tomorrow,
we'll always have this youtube video to remember it...

surf's up.

i've said it before, i'm not a huge fan of glass furniture, but
perhaps i'm changing? well, this combination of the wave
shelf with the glass shelving case is slick. leonardo emiliozzi, from
the italian furniture manufacturer urbanati, is on to something here.

brandy on top of the world again, this time without mase, most likely.

a new promo pic of brandy has been released and the viral
world is in a tizzy! brandy looks amazing and i, like many others,
can't wait for the new single to be released via myspace.com/foreverbrandy.

be kanye, part 2.

so absolut has a new line of commercials with the tagline
"be kanye" - i'm sure you've seen it at this point. while the
first bit was a low budget infomercial, the second piece is a
more classic commercial. i won't give it away but the basic
premise is that you can take 2 kanye west pills and become
a star/look like him and be treated like the superstar he is.
not sure what this has to do with absolut vodka, but at least
i've now mentioned it twice so i guess they win.

good lookin out on this one gowherehiphop. i put on, too.

bam! gino carollo kicks glass tables up a notch.

now while i'm not a huge advocate of glass coffee tables,
i do love this spider coffee table design by gino
carollo. spotted at draenert, relayed by contemporist.

don't go chasing waterfalls, just stand under this.

while the ecco charade fornara maulini designed rain shower
isn't taking any steps to conserve water, i can only imagine
how amazing it is to stand under it and take getting
zestfully clean to a whole new level.

you see me? hi hipster.

if someone uses the term "hi hipster" as a remix to maino's
"hi hater," i want some kind of creative citation/money.
anyways, adidas celebrates 10 years of the forum low
with these crazy polka dot kicks.

transformers, more than meets the eye.
